OVERVIEW & goals

Our focus with this project was to provide a platform that aggregates different types of data from various sources and platforms and combines them into one. When designing such a platform we had to focus on a few challenges like; providing a user-friendly experience while managing a lot of data and having widely customizable spaces. Also, we had to ensure that security measures were in place due to sensitive financial information.

Security

We have implemented a user hierarchy system within our platform, accommodating different levels of user profiles. Each user profile is set by applying access controls, ensuring that individuals can only view the data they are authorized to see. Additionally, authentication procedures are in place to enhance the security of the platform.

Admin space

Various Admin Panels are available for the management of different user categories, including employees, companies, and others. Within these panels, the admin has the ability to assign profiles, add new users, and undertake additional administrative actions.

Navigation & Customization

The platform features a navigation structure that is fully customizable. Users can easily navigate and personalize their space according to their preferences. Moreover, our platform offers a diverse range of widgets. These widgets can be customized to provide insights and information tailored to specific needs. This level of flexibility ensures that our platform accommodates the unique preferences and objectives of each user, enabling them to access the data that matters most to them.

STRUCTURE

The user can add new work environments, add new dashboards to each work environment, either a custom one or select one from the template library. The user can also add widgets to a dashboard, remove widgets, or edit them.

An expandable drawer menu to sort your dashboards, add new ones and pin favorites to the top of the list.

Add widgets

Customize your dashboard by adding new widgets or creating your own space from an empty dashboard.

Adjust the Settings

Customize the settings of each widget to suit your specific requirements.

Style Guides

A diverse color palette was created to distinguish different types of information. Green and red were key colors that represent the crypto-trading world. We selected shades of green and red that are not too harsh on the eye and blue as a main color to add a calm yet sophisticated look to the platform.

When finalizing the design for the platform our aim was to achieve a modern design with defined colors to display the large amount of data in a distinct way from one another to help convey the information as clearly as possible.

Dark mode

The dark theme was an essential addition to the platform in order to accommodate the crypto-market users as they tend to sit for long hours in front of a screen. Therefore, a dark theme is easier on the eye.

More customizations

As the project progressed, we introduced additional themes and font scaling options. Moreover, we provided each company the flexibility to include their own logo, enabling them to perceive the platform as uniquely tailored to their company's needs.
